OBD2 Cable
This is a high quality molded J1962 to DB9F cable, 5' in length, wired for all protocols: VPW, PWM, ISO, KWP2000, and CAN. This cable is designed to go between your vehicle's OBD2 connector and a scan tool. It is not designed to go from an OBD2 diagnostic port directly to your computer's RS232 serial port. For instance, on a serial connector on your computer, pin 2 is a data line. On this cable, pin 2 is a chassis ground. Pinouts for the 9 pin DB9F and 16 pin J1962 OBD2 connector are as shown:
